I am a 59-year-old self-taught artist based in Saltsjö-Boo, just outside Stockholm, where I live and work in my studio at home with my wife Marina, my partner of 25 years.

My path to painting has not been a traditional one. For many years, I built and ran several companies, while art remained a quiet but constant presence in my life—a space for reflection, balance, and meditation. Three years ago, I sold my main business and chose to fully dedicate myself to painting.

Today, my work is driven by an intuitive process. I am drawn to large-scale formats and particularly to portraits, where I explore human presence, emotion, and character. Being self-taught has shaped my approach—both challenging and liberating—and over time I have developed a visual language that feels distinctly my own.

I work in mixed media, with oil as the foundation in all my paintings, allowing layers, textures, and contrasts to emerge naturally within each piece.
